Medicare Open Enrollment Period Continues Until December 7th

image

Happy Fall!  This is the time of year when you have the ability to either keep your current Medicare coverage or make a change for the upcoming year.  If you elect to keep your plan as is then it will auto renew for 2022 and you don’t have to do anything.  However, if you’d like to make a change to your coverage you have until December 7th to elect a new plan option.

We have been reaching out and meeting with our current clients to advise on which options will cover their medications and healthcare needs at the lowest cost for next year.  If you would like to schedule an appointment you can call 800-797-0605 or schedule an appointment online by clicking here

This time of the year you will notice the advertisements on TV for Medicare plans are nonstop.  We’ve received a number of calls from people inquiring about the ads saying you can get $148 back into your Social Security check every month.  These advertisements are deceiving as there are no plans in New Jersey which give back the $148 per month into your Social Security check.  There are a few plans available which have a Medicare Part B premium Give Back, but the amount you receive back is much less than $148 monthly.  Additionally, there are some drawbacks to these plans such as higher copayments for medical services, fewer additional benefits, and/or a more restrictive network of doctors and hospitals you can see, so they do not work for everyone. We would be happy to discuss Medicare Advantage Part B Give Back plans with you if you are interested.
