About Us

New Jersey Medicare Brokers was founded by Andrew Vasta in 2017 in Orange, NJ.  Andrew was joined by Colleen Otremsky in 2021 to provide additional capacity to business operations and serve as an insurance broker. With over 15 years of experence with thousands of New Jersey residents, our team is driven to provide the highest level of service to our clients as they plan for their Medicare insurance and re-evaluate their insurance needs over time.

Andrew has been recognized by the NJ Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Progressionals (NABIP) as a leader in Medicare Insurance for his exceptional service to clients and commitment to the field.

Colleen is originally from South Jersey and has strong familial and business ties to the area.  Prior to joining New Jersey Medicare Brokers, Colleen held various management position in non-profit and government in the areas of food security, disaster recovery, child welfare and affordable housing development.

We help you find the plan that’s right for your financial, drug, and healthcare needs and give you a comprehensive review of your coverage annually. We use our 13 years of experience to align our over 1,500 clients with the best Medicare policy for their specific situation.

What we do

We first listen to you about the wants and needs you have for your Medicare policy and then work to align you with the product that best fits your situation. There is never a charge to speak with us or meet with us. We specialize in assisting our clients navigate their way through all the New Jersey Medicare options.

Who we serve

We work with all Medicare-eligible individuals in NJ. To be eligible for Medicare you must be age 65 or older or have a qualifying disability.
